Stamford St Martin*

1837-1911

* Some pages in the Stamford All Saints register are missing. These include marriages from August 1847 to September 1848, May to September 1848, and October 1849 to January 1850. Four of the missing marriages (1849-1850) are listed in a letter attached to the register and have been included although no details other than the date and names of the bride and groom are given. The other missing marriages have been added from the Registrar’s Book (RB – see below).

*Four marriages are missing from the microfiche of Stamford St Martin – Nos. 3-6 (between August 1837 and April 1838). Some marriages are very faded and others are blurred, making the microfiche very difficult to read in places. The original registers are at Northamptonshire Record Office. The missing marriages have been added from the Registrar’s Book (RB – see below).

*Stamford St Mary is on microfilm 4/43 and the last marriage on the film is for 14 June 1902. Pages 105 and 106 (1894/1895) of the register have not been filmed.
